Sondra Novick Wolff, MSW, LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Ms. Wolff has a master’s degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Michigan (1995) and a BA in psychology from Clark University (1993).
With ten years of experience as a school social worker in Montgomery and Fairfax County Public Schools, Sondra has extensive experience providing individual, group, and family therapy for children and families with special needs. She has facilitated numerous groups for children with emotional and developmental disabilities, including Down’s Syndrome and Pervasive Developmental Disorders; she has specialized in conducting psycho-educational group therapy for parents of children with special needs.
Her post-masters training includes three years in the Infant/Young Child Mental Health Training Program at the Washington School of Psychiatry and the Child and Adolescent Assessment and Treatment program with the Jewish Social Service Agency. She has lectured at The George Washington University, George Mason University, and Children’s National Medical Center.
She is originally from the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and attended Georgetown Day School.
